DIAGNOSTIC TESTS
Dental Imaging
With the latest technology PaX-i3D Smart dental radiology equipment from Vatech, we offer high-quality digital medical imaging to general dentists, as well as to individual specialties (maxillofacial surgery - orthodontics - periodontics, endodontics, etc.).
The latest technology dental radiology system thanks to its ergonomic design:
- It does not enhance any claustrophobia feeling.
- The examination is performed in a standing position and there is the possibility of serving people with disabilities.
- Adapts to the anatomical characteristics of each examinee for excellent image quality
- It offers a better digital panoramic image in areas that are usually blurred.
With panoramic radiography, the Dentist can see the patient's entire oral cavity in a single image.
Panoramics help diagnose many dental problems, such as tooth decay, anatomical abnormalities of the jaws, and tooth fractures.
They can also identify wisdom teeth, impacted or supernumerary teeth and with their help we can determine the dental age of children.
They are also used in patients who will undergo orthodontic treatment or implant placement.
Cephalometric radiographs are used primarily in orthodontics and maxillofacial surgery. They depict teeth and bones of the face from a side view.
Cephalometric radiography is performed to investigate orthodontic problems and skeletal abnormalities and to plan orthodontic treatment.
All exams are printed on high-definition film and stored on CD, in DICOM format, accompanied by an easy-to-use data editing program.
In consultation with our center, it is possible to send the exams via email in PDF format.
The advantages of 3D technology in dental imaging are many and facilitate both the doctor and the patient themselves as it achieves:
- Low radiation dose and high image quality
- At one and only scan, a digital panoramic and tomography scan
- Anatomical FOV 12x9cm
- Artifacts reduction technology
- High image clarity thanks to new RECOMBINATION Technology
Three-dimensional cone beam tomography (CBCT) is a modern technique that analyzes the jaw in three dimensions.
It focuses on the upper or lower jaw area and is able to perform analyses on curved lines and vertical radial sections at all points of the jaws.
Thanks to 3D cone beam tomography (CBCT), we can have a 3D image of the jaws, jaw height and width, but also have an impression of the quality and hardness of the bone.
